First new South London Police Station Opens  – the first new police station provided under the Equion PFI project has opened in Sutton. Designed by CT+G (with Raymond Smith Partnership), the facility incorporates the original police station, but reflects a different scale of operation in keeping with the operational needs of a modern police force. Further stations are under construction under the same project in Bromley, Lewisham and Deptford. (June 2003)

Prince at the Tower – the Prince of Wales has recently visited the new Education Centre at the Tower of London.  The centre was designed by CT+G and completed last year and represents the modern face of the Tower – ensuring the Prince a more enjoyable experience of the Tower than some of his ancestors.  (June 2003)

New Offices for Community Fund – relocation of the Community Fund’s Northern Ireland office is nearing completion.  The Fund desperately needed new premises, having run out of space at its existing premises.   The Practice has advised the Fund in negotiating the acquisition of new premises at the Cromac Wood development just south of the City Centre, also advising on space planning and fitting out.   The new premises are due to be ready for occupation in August 2003. (June 2003)

Party Walls – even Westminster Abbey has them – the Practice has recently been appointed to act as Party Wall Surveyor for works to the shop at the front of Westminster Abbey on what must be one of London’s oldest party walls.  Who said party wall work isn’t interesting?
